The AmPro Yamaha Sessions | Brent Buntyn
When I was a teenager, I fell in love with motocross from looking at magazines. The photography was always very dynamic, showing bikes flying through the air or kicking up frozen rooster tails of dirt behind them.
This film seems to match what was in my head.
When I finally got a bike, the experience was a tad less graceful. It was very much like having a bull by the horns. But swap out the bull for a giant weasel with horns. It was fast instead of slow, and brutal instead of graceful.
There was only one time when it was slow and graceful. The bike violently crashed into a ravine, and I gracefully flew over the handlebars in slow motion, breaking my leg on the crossbar on the way by.
